The moment

Imagine the moment
Naked
Stripped from every meaning and thought
Almost pure like a ray of light
caught between the shiny eyelids of a lover
and the empty hands of a believer

Imagine our souls
As they meet
When we meet for the first time
A dim flickering
An empty space between two particles of dust  drawn to each other
with a force - unstoppable
that no one knows where it comes from
or where does it go...

Imagine the moment
When we kiss for the first time
The moment when something inside me shivers at the thought of your fingers
letting your landmark on my ancient skin
across a continent of palpitating flesh

The moment when a kiss a touch a breath are no longer the definition of our we
But something more than that
Something beyond words engulfing me and you
A secret and a truth
the deep cut close to the heart
where our lips taste the storm
that starts to swirl inside us
The silence
The pause before our dreams start to take
the shape of one beloved shadow

No words, then...

So no moons and stars
No flowery vowels caressing your ears
No colors
No shadows no sounds
Not a single expression of love
Only
The moment
When you burn inside me
Making this painful frozen world
Bearable
Again

Love Song by William Carlos Williams

I lie here thinking of you:—

the stain of love
is upon the world!
Yellow, yellow, yellow
it eats into the leaves,
smears with saffron
the horned branches that lean
heavily
against a smooth purple sky!
There is no light
only a honey-thick stain
that drips from leaf to leaf
and limb to limb
spoiling the colors
of the whole world—

you far off there under
the wine-red selvage of the west!

The right to remain silent

When evening embraces words in falling shadows
Where can my sorrow nest?

Liquid evening
Mercurial night
My purple solitude
Leading every thought out to the sea
between a string of sighs
and the almost white of the moon
I draw a name upon the sand
and it is not mine
nor yours
gently erased by the whispering waves

Where did Time go?
Dancing words
Flying words
Cutting
Soothing
You can fight your way out of my heart
in plain words
hanging from my lips like dying butterflies

Where can my sorrow nest?
Silence is a  refuge made of glass
One crystal world
Where words can be suspended for ever
In lines of forgiven kisses

I have the right to remain silent
for all eternity inside my heart
holding only your memory
like a damask sword between my lips

I have the right to remain silent
All that i am
soaked in sea water
silver and pure
As a distant star rises holding on to my heart
and the waves break the code of unspoken love

I have the right to remain silent
holding you tight into my palm
like a dream that sleeps tenderly for aeons
As i pray
no fear
no agony
Just your touch traveling over my skin
and the moon sealing my lips
with your silver tears...
